There’s No “I” in “Check!”

Day 308

Hey Elle, It’s Sunday and though I was struggling yesterday with thinking that I wasn’t getting enough done, today (with the help of my husband) I got a lot done and still made room to see friends for dinner. Now that is good stuff. How did I accomplish it all? Two words: team work! Yes, you must allow others to help you and accept the help you are offered. And so I did; and will continue to do so. I can’t say I have always been this way. But as I said last night, give yourself a break, think it through and acknowledge that you can’t do everything at once and on your own (even if you’re used to doing it that way). My husband teaches me that each day and that’s why people get married, or should get married. When you can’t do it this way, people get divorced.  I know, it’s not always that cut and dry but, it can be. So I say, grab a helping hand and watch yourself do more than you imagined you could! It’s a much better feeling than beating yourself up because you don’t do enough…duh! Your Erica, E-Out!
